By expressing yourself fully and completely, you end up being a benefit to someone, somewhere. If you are truly radiating your soul and your actions are coming from the elementary flow of your self, then whatever you create will have resonance.
Resonance radiates, and that radiance is going to inspire someone, somewhere in the world. I had that experience when I did a 40 day practice for the first time. I had heard this teacher talking about people doing 40 days of yoga classes in a row and how that really boosted things in your life. So I decided to do it. I was about a week or so into it when some girl in the class saw me and was inspired to do it herself. Janet was here name. She was this quiet, sort of mousy girl who didn’t say much. After class one day, she came up to me all excited and said, “I’m doing 40 days of Yoga. I saw you doing it and decided I could do it too.”
“The privilege of a lifetime is being who you truly are.” –Joseph Campbell
And that’s how it works. You don’t look outside or even plan how it’s going to come out. You can set a goal, sure, but really you just get down to doing what makes you flow. You express yourself fully and with vigor, the effect is that your radiant body will connect through the very fabric of creation to uplift the whole system.
You might say, how can that be? It’s been well documented that there is a connected-ness beyond what we experience as time and space. The hundredth monkey was an scientific experiment that illustrates this really well.
“The account is that unidentified scientists were conducting a study of macaque monkeys on the Japanese island of Koshima in 1952. These scientists observed that some of these monkeys learned to wash sweet potatoes, and gradually this new behavior spread through the younger generation of monkeys—in the usual fashion, through observation and repetition.
Watson concluded that the researchers observed, that once a critical number of monkeys was reached, i.e., the hundredth monkey, this previously learned behavior instantly spread across the water to monkeys on nearby islands.” —from Wikipedia
Once a certain number of the monkeys were washing the sweet potatoes, it started happening on other islands, separated completely by water. The monkeys had no physical contact. Yogi Bhajan calls it the molecule psyche of the radiant body.
“My mind has neutron, electron, and proton and three of them make the molecule and molecule psyche is everywhere, here, hereafter, I was, I am, I shall be. There is no reason.” —Yogi Bhajan
Everything is connected because everything is made of molecules and these molecules have their own psyche.
So do your thing and do it well. It will reach out through your radiant body and make contact in amazing ways.
