“There are two ways of living in the world, the way of worry and the way of relaxation. If you worry, you have to concentrate to imagine and it becomes physical work; but if you turn your mind to the universal mind, then things will come to you.” —Yogi Bhajan
When you’re having a problem it seems like it’s never going to end. That’s because when you’re stuck, you’re fearful, and when you’re fearful about a problem, you’re tight. Your limited mind is feeding you to more of the same block and that’s when you think it’s never going to end.
The truth is “there’s a way through every block” as Yogi Bhajan states in the 5 Aquarian Sutras.
There’s a solution to everything because we’re infinite in nature and the answer is there, even if you can’t see it. Sometimes you have to relax and be patient and accept the situation rather than fighting it and rejecting it.
Every problem has a benefit, even if you can’t see it right away. The law of polarity on this planet is that everything has an opposite. So if there’s a negative event, that same event has to have a positive polarity. It has to. It’s the law! Every coin has a heads and a tails. What goes up, must come down.
The trouble is, when something unfortunate happens to us, we can’t move off of the shock of it and see that there’s a fortunate side to it as well. But you can do it if you get in the habit of looking for the benefit in a bad situation.
You know that saying, “every cloud has a silver lining?” That’s the essence of this teaching.
Every problem goes away. Nothing lasts forever. Everything has an expiration date, including your problems. Think back to some problem you had in the past, one that really had you stuck. Doesn’t seem like it was never that big a deal, especially now, right?
The key is to have enough energy to see the positive with the negative. With enough energy and awareness, you can get to the positive mind and change the gears. You can transmute the situation in the mind. You can see it through a positive lens and then search for the benefit, the advantage in the situation and then you can act accordingly. Accentuate the positive.
Remember, everything is coming from One Flow. So everything has one source even though it may be opposing. Always remember, the spirit is one and if you can go to the highest part of you, which is The Flow, in any problem you’ll access the solution from the source.
